Key Features:

  • Pavilion, Restroom and Maintenance Facilities
  • Exposed Structural Steel and Wood Framing

Visiting outdoor enthusiasts and park staff alike benefit from the new facilities at Milton Reimers Ranch Park, including a 2,000sf Pavilion, Mountain Bikers Restrooms, Rock Climbers Restrooms, a 5,800sf Maintenance Building, and Vehicle Shed.  The Pavilion consists of HSS roof framing on concrete columns; cantilevered CMU walls frame the restrooms below.  Other restroom structures are CMU walls with wood roof framing.  The roof structures are all exposed to view and to the elements, thus PESC staff collaborated with the architect to ensure structural details were simple, clean and durable.

The Maintenance Building and Vehicle Shed are prefabricated metal buildings for which PESC provided foundation design and detailing, as well as specifications.

Construction of all park improvements completed in 2011 for approximately $3.8M.
