P.E. Structural Consultants, Inc. provided structural engineering services for the preliminary analysis and design of this new residential project using LadderBlock™ technology.
The project comprises a series of seven inter-linking 10-story towers and 2 levels of basement which form a podium structure below. The building has a total construction area of approximately 1.7 million square feet.
The LadderBlock™ system, a set of precast, pre-engineered and precision-manufactured frames and floor panels, is proposed for the primary gravity load resisting system of the structure while conventional cast-in-situ concrete shear walls form the lateral load resisting system. Not built.
