P.E. Structural Consultants, Inc. provided structural engineering services for the preliminary analysis and design of this new luxury residence project using Ladderblock™ technology.
Dubai Festival City is a ‘city within a city’ - a master-planned waterfront community comprising a mix of retail, entertainment, dining, shopping, a marina, golf course, sport and leisure facilities, residential, office and hotel components. Zone 6 is situated in the northern part of the Dubai Festival City site, adjacent to the Mediterranean-themed lifestyle communities.
The planned structure will house approximately 800 units within 5 towers. With 3 towers standing at G+23 and 2 standing at G+17 floors, a total construction area of 1.6 million square feet is expected.
The Ladderblock™ system, a set of precast, pre-engineered and precision-manufactured frames and floor panels, is proposed for the primary gravity load resisting system of the structure while conventional cast-in-situ concrete shear walls form the lateral load resisting system. Not built.
