P.E. Structural’s staff has paired aesthetic bridge design expertise and familiarity with TxDOT standards to develop efficient, constructible and appealing sign structures for several projects such as the SH130 Toll Road.
PESC provided structural as well as aesthetic design for all sign bridges and cantilever sign supports for the 183A Toll Road. Project constraints at an intersection with existing roads led to the analysis and design of special guyed signal poles.
In another Design-Build effort, the El Paso Inner Loop (Spur 601), P.E. Structural created custom project standards for monotube sign structures that offered a significant savings over the standard TxDOT design.
PESC is currently designing aesthetic sign supports for the US290E Manor Expressway in east Austin.
